Your database connection

TuningLens does not ask for database credentials, connect to your database, or automatically execute SQL. You collect diagnostic output and review suggested changes in your own environment.

Your account and cases

Supabase provides authentication and stores account details, beta approval status, SQL cases, messages, evidence, recommendations and feedback. These records support sign-in and the ongoing tuning workflow. Database access rules restrict customer access to their own cases; authorized service administration is separate.

AI analysis

SQL, database context, conversation and submitted evidence are sent to OpenAI when you request AI analysis. Recommendations can be wrong and require review. The application requests that API responses are not stored as retrievable response objects, but this is not a guarantee of zero provider retention. Provider processing and retention depend on the service and account settings.

Do not submit credentials, connection strings, personal data or material you are not authorized to share. Automatic redaction is not currently provided. Redacting SQL values can affect the usefulness of an analysis, so preserve relevant structure and explain changes you make.

Usage and service operations

Cloudflare hosts the application. The service uses operational diagnostics to investigate failures. AI usage accounting records model identifiers, token counts, request status and associations with your account and case to estimate service costs. These records are separate from Google Analytics. Accounting identifiers are retained separately from cases; deleting a case or account does not automatically remove its accounting record.

Optional website analytics

If enabled, Google Analytics loads on public marketing and sign-in/sign-up pages only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Our explicit events contain public page names and beta-request activity, not SQL, case IDs, evidence, email addresses or form contents. Google receives connection information when its script loads, including your IP address, and uses analytics cookies.

Declining does not affect access to TuningLens. Change your choice using Analytics preferences on a public page. Declining stops subsequent tracking; it does not remove previously collected data or existing browser cookies. The service measures only consenting, unblocked visitors.

Retention and deletion during beta

The current application keeps account and case records for the ongoing service. An automatic case-retention schedule and self-service account or case deletion are not yet available. Do not use the beta for information that requires a retention or deletion guarantee we have not agreed with you.

Your next step

Start with a small, redacted query and only the diagnostic output needed for the investigation. Keep production changes under your normal review and testing process.
